The Zumbro Valley Baseball League is excited to announce our special partnership with the Rochester Honkers for ZVBL Night on Sunday, July 5th, at historic Mayo Field!
We’re grateful for this amazing opportunity to bring our ZVBL players, coaches, and families together for a memorable day of baseball. The Honkers, a cornerstone of the Northwoods League since 1994, deliver high-level collegiate summer baseball right here in Rochester—giving our young athletes a front-row seat to see what dedication and skill look like at the next level. It’s the perfect way to inspire our kids and celebrate the game we all love.
Join us as the Honkers take on the Eau Claire Express at 5:05 p.m. The day is packed with exclusive experiences designed especially for our ZVBL community:
- Exclusive opportunity for ZVBL players and coaches to watch the Honkers take batting practice at 2 p.m.—get an up-close view of elite college hitters in action!
- Participate in a relaxed Q&A session with Honkers coaches and players from 3:15–3:45 p.m.—perfect for asking questions and picking up tips from those who’ve made it further in the game.
- Be part of the Pre-Game Parade of Teams at 4:30 p.m.—arrive in your team uniforms, walk out on the field, and enjoy being introduced during the pre-game ceremonies. Bring your whole team and show your pride!
- Finish with thrilling Northwoods League action as the Honkers face the Express starting at 5:05 p.m.—classic summer baseball under the lights!
